send the photo or the pdf; teresa keeps it with the expense, reacts 📎, and shows it on the web page and in exports.

send it, it sticks

a photo or a pdf sent to the chat is saved for good and linked to an expense; when it is linked the message gets a 📎. stickers are ignored. the file itself never leaves the server - the page shows a thumbnail, the export says yes.

the caption counts as a message too: a photo captioned "hotel 3,200" logs the expense and attaches the receipt in one go - 💸 and 📎 together.

a captioned photo is one expense with its receipt. a bare pdf right after an expense attaches to it.

how a file finds its expense

  1. the same message - a caption with an amount.
  2. a reply: reply to the message that logged the expense with the photo.
  3. nearest first: a bare file goes to your most recent expense without a receipt, within a short window.
  4. otherwise it waits as pending. order does not matter - a photo first and "uber 89" after also pairs up.

move, list, get it back

"that photo is the tacos", "attach it to #7", "esa foto es del hotel" moves a receipt. "which expenses have no receipt?" and "what's pending?" list them. "send me the receipt for the hotel" sends the file back to the chat.
