teresa is a WhatsApp bot that tracks expenses and splits bills from plain messages. Text "uber 89" or "cena 300 ayer" in a private chat or a group and it logs the expense, attaches receipts, remembers who paid and posts who owes who when a tab closes. Every chat gets a live web page with totals, balances and CSV/XLSX/PDF downloads - no app, no signup, no login.
teresa is an expense tracker and bill splitter that lives inside WhatsApp. Nothing to install, no account to create: message teresa, or add it to a group, and it introduces itself on the first message.
- text what you spent the way you already talk - "spent 300 on groceries", "uber 89", "cine 180 ayer" - in any language, no commands, no forms
- it reacts with a 💸 when an expense is logged and stays quiet otherwise; it only talks when someone asks
- photos and PDFs sent to the chat are attached to the right expense as receipts
- groups work in tabs: "new tab Trip" opens one, "close the tab" freezes it and posts the final numbers
- a tab can split - it remembers who paid, splits among everyone or just the people named, and settles up in chat
- or run as a shared ledger with "no split": nobody owes anyone, it totals by person and category
- "budget 20,000" caps a tab; it warns at 80% and 100%
- custom columns such as payment method or project are added in one sentence and filled from what people write
